Copywriting & Strategy

At Web Design Newcastle, we offer Copywriting and Strategy. Sometimes, it takes work to understand where to start with a website. You might have an idea in your head, but you need to figure out how to communicate it to the people building your website. That’s what we’re here for.

Copywriting & Strategy

Understand what makes you different from the competition

  • Understand what makes your website unique
  • Understand what makes you special
  • Understand what makes you stand out from the crowd

Know where you are now and where you want to be

  • Know where you are now.
  • Know what you want to achieve.
  • Know how you can get there.

It would help if you were specific about what you want to achieve and the actions that will help you.

Identify your goals, obstacles and opportunities to reach your goal(s)

Having a clear picture of what you want to achieve is essential. Do you need to:

Once you understand what you want, the next step is identifying whether or not there are any obstacles in your way of getting there. If there are, this could help you decide whether or not the goal is realistic or achievable. For example, suppose your business has provided excellent customer service for years but wants to improve this area even further. In that case, it may be worth considering hiring another member of staff who specialises in this area so that they can take over some of the responsibilities from other team members and free them from having sole responsibility for delivering excellent customer service.

Strategy

As you create your website, one of the most important things to consider is how your users will navigate it.

A well-structured site with good flow and straightforward navigation will make it much easier for them to find what they need.Leverage your strengths to overcome weaknesses

We all have strengths and weaknesses, but it’s important to know them so you can use them to your advantage. This principle applies to individuals, teams, businesses, and brands.

If you’re a good writer but struggle with design, hire someone who excels at that for your web development project in Newcastle. You should try to do only some things yourself when people are better than you at certain things! Suppose one of our clients is good at writing content for a website. In that case, we won’t advise them on how best to make their site look nice—we’ll tell them where we think their writing could be improved or how it could be structurally organised differently based on our years of experience working with clients’ needs (and what works best).

Identify how we help your customers and clients.

Our copywriters and strategists can help you by:

  • Writing your copy, including emails and landing pages, that communicate your product’s or service’s value.
  • Building a strategy for your business that helps with marketing, sales, website traffic and conversions.
  • Creating a website that will generate more leads for you.

Research keywords that help us understand how users look for you.

Keywords are the words that users type into search engines to find your website. They are also known as ‘search terms, ” search queries,’ or simply ‘keywords.’

Keywords describe what you do and offer, what you provide to your clients, and how users look for you. They help us understand how users look for you so we can create content that will appeal to them and improve their experience on your site.

Build a site navigation that will make it easier for users to find what they need.

As you create your website, one of the most important things to consider is how your users will navigate it. If you have a well-structured site with good flow and straightforward navigation, then this will make it much easier for them to find what they need.

To make sure that your site navigation works well for both new and returning visitors, here are some tips:

    • Have a clear structure in mind before you start building pages. This means knowing where each page fits about other pages on the site (for example home > about > contact)
    • Make sure each page has its unique purpose – don’t just group all the blog posts together under ‘blog’! Your goal should be that every page can stand alone as a standalone piece of content with an actionable call-to-action at the end (like “book now” or “get my free ebook”).
